In this article, I would like to share with you some of my personal reflections on the hajj, a journey to the center of the Muslim world to where the faith began, not just for Muhammad (peace) but because it was were Abraham (peace) built the first house of pilgrimage dedicate to a monotheistic conception of God.

It is understood that some prophets chosen among the messengers are called ulu'l-azm due to their different qualities from the others. Although there are different views about the number and identity of these prophets, it is generally agreed that ulu'l-azm refers to the five greatest messengers, that is Muhammad, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Noah.

There is more information about Prophet Abraham than about most other prophets in the Torah, in Jewish literature in general, in Christian literature, in the Quran, and in Islamic literature; Prophet Abraham is seen as a forefather by Jews, Christians and Muslims.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) belongs to Adnanis that is one of the two biggest Arabic tribes. The Adnanis are also known as Ismailites named after the Prophet Ismael, the son of Abraham.
