A Call to Mankind
Lastprophet.Info / Writers' Articles / Najla T. Ilhan

Fathers Every Day
Lastprophet.Info / Writers' Articles / Najla T. Ilhan

Shame on us if we think a copycat holiday for our fathers is any way to honor them. Burdened with the responsibility to provide for their immediate and extended families the moment they reach adulthood (by Islamic standards that's puberty) our young men...

Lived, Had, Hoped For
Lastprophet.Info / Writers' Articles / Najla T. Ilhan

God's Messenger kissed Al-Hasan bin Ali (his grandchild) while Al-Aqra' bin Habis At-Tamim was sitting beside him. Al-Aqra said, "I have ten children and I have never kissed anyone of them", God's Messenger cast a look at him and said, "Whoever is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully."
